Riverstone is the diamond of natural roofing slate. SSQ’s signature slate is not actually slate, it is phyllite. Harder, denser and stronger than slate, phyllite is a perfect stone for any design challenge or artistic feature.

With only a handful of sources known worldwide, commercially accessible phyllite stone is rare. Riverstone is one of very few top quality phyllite slates available.

Its quality and exclusivity explains why it is used in the most prestigious projects, not just in the UK, but worldwide.

If you are looking for the absolute best – that something special for your roofing, cladding or architectural project – then you have come to the right place.

As we are the SSQ main stockist for our area we also stock their other ranges of Spanish slate, so if you are after something specific please drop us a line.

Listed price is for 1m2 slates collected from us but we can arrange delivery via our own transport or pallet courier.  If it is a larger quantity you require again please drop us a note, as there may be discount available for quantity.

These slates are available to view at our 3 acre reclamation yard based in Shropshire, during normal working hours.  We have a small display set up showing what the slates look like on the roof.  We also have a couple of local projects we have supplied in this slate, that we could take you to so that you can see what they will look like after being on for a few years.
