You are viewing an antique reclaimed vintage cast iron Coalbrookdale fluted column or post that comes complete with a chamfered Yorkstone base, that has been salvaged from a chapel near Wrexham.
Originally this post and base supported a handrail that climbed up the steps to the front of the Chapel.
Made by the work famous Coalbrookdale foundry the post is in first class condition for its age and the stone block is in immaculate condition bar one chip to it.
Overall the column and stone block stands an impressive 77 inches tall, with the Yorkstone block measuring 18″ x 18″.
This is really something quite simple but special that could be used for many purposes inc bird table, lamp base etc etc
